Every new WARDOGS Season 2 weapon and vehicle, and whether it is worth buying
· 8 min read · AFKDOG Operations

Two of the four new Season 2 weapons fire .308 Winchester, which is the calibre that just lost 25% of its base damage, and that is the single most useful thing to know before you spend cash at a vendor. The new guns are not bad, but they arrived into a rebalanced damage model, so the old instinct of picking whatever fires the biggest round no longer pays what it used to. Everything below is from the official Season 02 patch notes on Steam.
The four new weapons
- TCX-SPR [7.62x39mm], assault rifle. Its calibre took a 19% base damage cut, and the notes name it directly as now sitting close to the FAL and M4 rather than behind them.
- PP-19 Bizon [9x19mm], SMG. The only one of the four firing a calibre that was NOT reduced, which quietly makes it the least affected addition.
- Evo-3 Ultra [.308 Win], LMG. Fires the hardest-hit calibre, down 25%.
- M14 [.308 Win], marksman rifle. Same calibre, same reduction.
A new set of attachments landed with them: additional optics, muzzle devices, magazines and bipods. Attachment prices came down across the board in the same patch, which matters more than it sounds, because kitting a new weapon is most of its real cost.
The Molotov is the sleeper addition
A thrown incendiary that splashes fire on impact and burns anyone standing in it, throwable overarm or underarm. It deals impact damage plus damage over time, and it ignites destructible foliage, which makes it a tool for clearing sightlines rather than only for area denial. One caveat that ties it to the weather: rain reduces Molotov fire.
Gear changes worth reading before you buy
The Infrared Range Finder now runs on batteries. One battery lasts around 80 seconds of active use and drains faster if you toggle it rapidly, so it has become a considered tool rather than a permanent overlay.
Helmets are the bigger shift. The Level 4 helmet gained muffled audio, muffled proximity chat, a restricted field of view and a visor that fogs when you sprint, while its damage reduction fell from 65% to 60%. In exchange, Level 3 and Level 4 helmets now cut suppression by 68% and 80% respectively. The helmet is no longer a pure upgrade, it is a trade.
Four new vehicles
- Wolf-110, a fast light wheeled transport.
- Wolf-110 [M2 Browning], the same vehicle with a ring-mounted M2.
- T-72B3, a main battle tank. The notes position it against the L2A6: slower, but cheaper and slightly more fuel-efficient.
- Flakpanzer Gepard, a dedicated anti-air vehicle.
The T-72B3 is the one that changes decisions. A cheaper, more fuel-efficient main battle tank gives a team that cannot afford an L2A6 a real armour option, and fuel efficiency compounds over a long match. Three new buildables, and a cost table that moved a lot
The MG Nest is a manned M2 emplacement at 650 build supplies. The Large Shelter covers key assets or keeps rain off, at 250. The Wooden Step is a step, made of wood.
Several existing costs moved sharply, which reshapes what a defensive build can afford:
- Bremmer wall 15 to 32, Door 22 to 80, Gate 85 to 200
- L81 Mortar 150 to 600, Stingray 150 to 650
- Air raid shelter, bunker and crow's nest all 100 to 200
- Talon 9K-SAM came DOWN, 1,000 to 650, and Vanguard CIWS 1,500 to 1,200
- Hot Zone Magnet 2,250 to 2,750
Read that list as a nudge away from cheap walls and doors and toward committed emplacements: the Talon and the CIWS got cheaper while the mortar and the Stingray got four times dearer.
Season 2 Gold Market camos
Eight new weapon and vehicle skins arrived across four camo families: Black & Gold on the Little Bird as a Season 2 exclusive, Chocolate Chip on the Evo-3 Ultra, M14 and TCX-SPR, Two-Tone Desert on the Galil, Mosin and Havoc, and Digital Wood on the M500. The Black & Gold AK camo was removed from the Gold Market.
If you want the new weapons unlocked without grinding their tracks, our Wardogs item drops service and the Wardogs farming hub both handle unlocks by hand.
Frequently asked
Which new Season 2 weapon is least affected by the damage nerf?
The PP-19 Bizon. It fires 9x19mm, which is not among the four calibres that received base damage reductions. The TCX-SPR, Evo-3 Ultra and M14 all fire calibres that were cut, by 19% for 7.62x39mm and 25% for .308 Winchester.
How long does an Infrared Range Finder battery last?
Around 80 seconds of active use, according to the patch notes. It drains faster if you toggle the device on and off quickly, so leaving it running briefly is more efficient than repeatedly flicking it.
Is the Level 4 helmet still worth wearing in Season 2?
It depends on your role. Its damage reduction fell from 65% to 60% and it now muffles audio and proximity chat, restricts your field of view and fogs when sprinting. In return it cuts suppression by 80%. It favours players holding a position over players pushing and listening.
What does the MG Nest cost to build?
The MG Nest costs 650 build supplies, the same as the Stingray and the reduced Talon 9K-SAM. It is a manned M2 Browning emplacement, so it needs a player in it to be useful, unlike the automated Vanguard CIWS at 1,200.
Does rain affect the new Molotov?
Yes. The patch notes state that Molotov fire is reduced by rain, and the new rain preset also affects spotting range. A Molotov thrown during heavy weather will not deny an area as effectively as one thrown in clear conditions.
