Some of these stop being possible

A Glory achievement from a current raid tier is a long evening. The same achievement two expansions later is a different thing entirely, and a few of them -- feats of strength, the seasonal Gladiator titles, anything tied to a Mythic world first -- simply close and never reopen. The page says which of the rows below are on a clock and which will still be there next year.

The title is the point, not the achievement

Nobody wants the achievement row in their log. They want the word next to their name, and in this game that word is one of the few things gold cannot buy. Gladiator in particular is a season-locked PvP title: it is the most expensive thing on this page because it is three months of arena compressed into a run of evenings.
