What a diary actually unlocks

Teleports that save a minute a trip, shortcuts that save five, and at elite the best gloves in the game. Diaries are the quietest quality-of-life upgrade in Old School, which is why people who have them cannot imagine playing without and people who do not have them underrate the difference.

Priced by tier, because the work is in the tier

An easy diary is an afternoon of errands. An elite diary needs several skills in the nineties and a handful of quests first, which is why it costs ten times as much. Region does not change the price much; tier changes it completely.
