Every profession here goes to three hundred with the materials gathered rather than bought off your auction house with your gold. That is most of the cost and all of the time: the middle of enchanting and engineering is a wall of mats, not a wall of skill points.

Which profession is worth it

Enchanting and engineering are the expensive ones and the useful ones, which is not a coincidence. Alchemy pays for itself on a raiding character inside a tier. If the goal is gold rather than raiding, ask on a custom request, the answer depends on what your realm is short of, and that is not something a price list can know.
