The ladder runs from zero to eighteen thousand SR across six tiers of three, then Iridescent, then Top 250. Each band has its own price, because Bronze to Silver is not the same work as Crimson to Iridescent. You set where you are and where you want to be, and the total is the bands in between. Nothing is estimated and nothing is averaged.
Your rank icon in Modern Warfare 4 is an animal and a number that tracks your ranked career. Your skill division, Bronze through Iridescent, changes what that icon is made of. That is why the divisions here carry their real colours and no separate emblem: in this game the division is the material, not the badge. Activision has not published this title’s crest yet, and we would rather show you nothing than show you the last game’s.
Below Iridescent you are buying a division and the SR is just how you get there, so the page names the division. From ten thousand up it is the number itself that matters, and Top 250 is a placement rather than a rank, which means it depends on where the ladder sits that season. The prices above Iridescent are three times the ones below it because the lobbies are the top of the playerbase and the games are close.
