Why does one Master division cost so much more than a Rookie one?

Because the climb does. Each division is priced on its own rather than averaged, so the bottom of the ladder stays cheap and the top is honest about what it takes.

Yes, one division is the smallest order on this ladder. The picker takes a start and an end and prices the divisions between them.

Thirty-five divisions, priced one at a time

Rookie 1 through to Master 5, and every division is its own price. The climb is not linear in the slightest: one Master division costs more than a hundred Rookie ones, because that is what the difficulty actually does. You pick where you are and where you want to be, and the price is the sum of the divisions between.

This one has to be played on your account

RedSec rating only moves for the account that earns it, so unlike every other page here a rank climb cannot be done by squadding up with you. That means account access, and it means the credential handling that goes with it. If you would rather not, coaching is the alternative and the improvement stays yours.

Why these show a shield and not the game badge

EA does not publish the RedSec division insignia anywhere we can legitimately source, and drawing a lookalike would be passing off somebody else’s mark. So each division renders with its own name and colour on a plain shield, ramping grey through to violet the way the game’s own tiers do. The division you buy is the one named on it.
