Pick the division you are in and the one you want, and the price is the distance between them. Division 10 to 7 is a handful of comfortable games. Division 2 to 1 is not, and the price reflects that rather than averaging it out. Elite is the one position you can also state a points total for, because Elite is a band you live in rather than pass through.
Rivals pays a weekly reward that scales with your division, so the climb is worth the pack it unlocks rather than the number beside your name. Moving from Division 5 to Division 3 changes what lands in your club every week for the rest of the season, which is why most people buy the climb once and then buy wins.
A division is about four games at a booster winrate, and a game of FC is roughly fifteen minutes with the menus. A climb of three or four divisions is an evening; a run from Division 10 to Elite is several days of play and the order page quotes a range in days before you pay. Your squad matters more here than in any other game we sell: a starter team means more games for the same climb, which is why the builder asks.
